The Mega Khimki shopping center near Moscow will reopen to visitors from December 29, company representatives said. All entrances will be available to visitors, as well as ground parking. On December 9, a fire broke out in the OBI hypermarket located in the Mega Khimki shopping center, followed by a powerful explosion. After that, the roof collapsed. Investigators said that the cause of the fire was welding that did not meet safety requirements. The latest inspection at the OBI in Khimki revealed almost 50 fire safety violations.
