Letters to the Editor: Love is not just a word

Love is not limited to words.

Love is not just a word Love is not limited to words. It is not just by mouthing that you love someone so much that you do not become a great lover, only your feelings, and respect will reveal how far you have been able to give place to the feeling of love in your heart. Some people who are left alone for a lifetime lose their love. But he can't give it to others. He keeps every moment spent with the lost one alive as a memory forever. Whether you forget or remember the one who has gone away from you also depends on the depth of your love. Many people say that love happens once in a human being. Things can't be denied. Because there are people among us who after losing their first love cannot cultivate that feeling of love for someone else for the second time. One such message has been conveyed by the Kannada film 'Love Mocktail-2'. The film was recently dubbed into Hindi and released. The main theme of the film revolves around love. After just a year of marriage, when Darling Krishna loses his life partner, he is left alone. Later, his friends offered to sit in marriage with others but he could not take anyone for granted. At the end of the film, Krishna reveals that even today love for his wife is like a shadow to him. He fades into the one-year memories he spent with her, keeping her alive with him. Kannada actor Darling Krishna has won the hearts of many through the romantic film 'Love Mocktail-2' by writing with his thinking, directing and acting in the lead role himself and produced by his wife Milana Nagaraj and with her in the lead act. Sanjib Sagar Das, Bhawanipur Liquor shops in rural areas Drinking should not be encouraged by the government and they should promote how injurious it can be to consume alcohol. People should also try to avoid drinking. But for those who continue to drink, the government should monitor the quality of the liquor they consume. In some rural areas, It is more like a tradition to work the entire day and later before sleeping drink some alcohol so that they get a good amount of sleep. These people are not getting quality liquor to drink because they don't get access to it easily in their area and hence they drink illegal chemically unapproved liquor which results in bad health and death later. According to a survey, every year nearly 20 to 35 people die through consuming illicit liquor and a maximum of these people are from rural areas where they don't get access to quality liquor. Every day the Excise Department destroys thousands of litres of illicit liquor. Instead of having a brawl with these people, the government should grant them legal liquor shops with a license in different areas so that anyone who drinks should consume quality liquor. Also, locally-made liquor has no revenue for the government. Government should chemically test the innumerable tribal brews of the state in labs for quality and provide them legally to consumers. Samson Ingti (samson.ingti01@gmail.com) AAP is not for Aam Admi The AAP, once a regional political party of Delhi, has now become a national political party under Arvind Kejriwal after dethroning Congress in Punjab. Bhagawat Singh Mann, a street performer with doubtful integrity, has been installed as the CM of Punjab, a very sensitive state bordering Pakistan. Very soon the new CM started showing his true colours through his actions in Frankfurt airport recently to the great amusement of his fellow passengers onboard the plane. The latest incident of pro-Khalistani and anti-Indian slogans raised in an AAP rally somewhere in Punjab is very alarming as well as disturbing for the aam admi (common people) of Punjab. AAP can never be a part of the common masses/ aam admi of Punjab or the nation as a whole. Lanu Dutta Chowdhury, Guwahati Eight jewels seeing developments It is encouraging to see the Central government supporting the North-Eastern (NE) region's development. An example of NE development is the 1.13-kilometre-long Atal Setu, which connects the Himalayan state with the rest of the country via West Bengal. It is an essential component of the country's strategic framework. Our President Murmu refers to the eight states in the NE states region as the "Ashtaratnas" (eight jewels) of India which is a pride feeling to NE people. The Central Government has started infrastructure projects to improve agriculture, education, and connectivity in the North Eastern states, among other sectors, which appears to be helping these states make significant advancements. However, it should also take a look at the health and power sectors. Some of the initiatives will have a significant impact on the NE state's economic growth and development, especially the tourism industry, which appears to create a lot of job opportunities for youngsters.
