Legendary Assamese cine artiste Nipon Goswami’s death condoled

A CORRESPONDENTJAMUGURIHAT: Assam Nepali Sahitya Sabha (ANSS), in a press statement issued by Durga Khatiara, president, Dr. Chinta Mani Sharma, working president and Madan Thapa, chief secretary of the literary body condoled the untimely death of legendary Assamese cine artiste, inconic actor, popular figure of the Assamese nation Nipon Goswami who breathed his last on Thursday. Through the press release, the literary organization of the state prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and conveyed heartful condolences for the bereaved family members as well. NAGAON: Local MLA Rupak Sarma as well as other dignitaries like former AGP Minister Girindra Kr Boruah, former Congress MLA Dr Durlav Chomua, drama activists like Natyapran Prasanta Sarma, Pabitra Pran Sarma, Ajit Borthakur, etc and various cultural organizations of the small town including Binapani Natyamandir, Nagaon Natyamandir, Nagaon Silpi Mancha, Gandhar, Sangskritik Gosthi 'Kollul' and many others condoled the demise of noted Assamese film actor Nipon Goswami and prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul.
