Box Office: Ram Setu is staying decent in theatres, Thank God hoping for a push over the weekend

As the festive season is wearing off, Ram Setu and Thank God are now on their own and collections give an indication of how next few days are going to be. Ram Setu has still managed to stay decent in theatres and has managed the kind of footfalls from where it can hope to grow again over the weekend. However, Thank God has surprisingly seen relatively bigger drops since its release and would need a push over the next few days in order to survive. Let's talk about Ram Setu first. After taking an opening of Rs. 15.25 crores, it has come to Rs. 8.75 crores on the third day. Ideally, the numbers should have been in double digits even on Thursday but though that hasn't happened, there are hopes that collections would be on an upswing all over again on Saturday and Sunday. Prior to that it has to be seen whether Friday collections are closer to that of Thursday and if even if there is a drop then it's not more than 10%-15%. That would signify stability at the box office and then further growth. On the other hand, Thank God had started at Rs. 8.10 crores and has come to almost half of that on the third day with Rs. 4.15 crores coming in. Again, the collections should have been on the upwards of Rs. 5 crores on Thursday but with that not happening, one now waits to see how things turn out to be today. The film cannot afford to fall any further though the trend so far indicates that the film will indeed go below the Rs. 4 crores mark. From here, it would indeed be an uphill task for the film to score and it's all about how much best it would score by close of Sunday. So far, Ram Setu has collected Rs. 35.40 crores at the box office and the aim would be go past the Rs. 60 crores mark before Sunday closes. That should happen eventually. On the other hand, Thank God would go past Rs. 30 crores for sure but in order to have a lifetime of over Rs. 50 crores, it needs to be closer to Rs. 35 crores by the time Sunday is through. Note: All collections as per production and distribution sources
