A total of nine candidates in the Sonitpur district have brought laurels to the district by achieving different ranks in the recently declared results of the APSC CCE 2020.
A CORRESPONDENT RANGAPARA: A total of nine candidates, including Pranami Bharadwaj Borah, Pankhi Hazarika, Gargi Goswami and Mrignaka Das from Tezpur town area and Anupam Boro from Balipara-Phulbari Kacharigaon area, Chaikee Nanda Kashyap from Jamugurihat area, Barnali Khatiwara from Barchala Singri area near Dhekiajuli town, Manikankana Das from Barchala-Barbhagia village near Dhekiajuli town, Rajesh Rajbangsi from Jamuguri-Dhalaibil area in the Sonitpur district have brought laurels to the district by achieving different ranks in the recently declared results of the APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2020. Pranami Bharadwaj Borah has secured 31st rank in Assam Police Service (APS). This brilliant candidate belonging to a middle class family residing in the housing colony in Parwa Chariali in Tezpur, after schooling from Sacred Heart School and passing the Higher Secondary exam in science stream from Darrang College here, cleared her graduation from Cotton University with Zoology Major. Daughter of retired Housing Board official Hemanta Borah and mother Junu Borah, Pranami in an exclusive interview told this correspondent that Assam Civil Service was a distant dream which like many others she bore dear to her heart, but the perseverance and endeavour that were expected of an aspirant was not an easy proposition. "Starting my day with the mandatory guide, a newspaper, each day for me was a consistent encounter with the study materials, both static and current. It is my first attempt and having made it through is not an achievement of my own but contribution of each and every one who had faith in me." The brilliant candidate added that the entire process is a long one and so patience of a candidate becomes his/her shiniest armour. "However, the constant support of my parents and family, the faith that my well-wishers had instilled upon me and God who had lit my way throughout had been instrumental in my success. Well, success is subjective and it's a long way ahead. I pray that my conscience help me serve my people better and hence, I seek blessings and good wishes in my way ahead." She mentioned. On the other hand, Pankhi Hazarika of Barjhargaon area near here has been placed in the 43rd rank in ACS, Gargi Goswami of Tezpur town placed in 6th rank in Assistant Manager of Industries (AMI/ACS) while Mrignaka Das (from Tezpur town area) has been able to achieve 64th rank in the ACS. Likewise, Anupam Boro from Balipara area has made it to the APS with 46th rank, Chaikee Nanda Kashyap from Jamugurihat area has been able to grab the 81st rank in the APSC examination, Barnali Khatiwara from Singri, Barchala area has cleared the APSC with 100th rank, Manikankana Das from Barchala-Borbhagia area has cleared the APSC with the 63th rank. Meanwhile, Rajesh Rajbangsi from Jamuguri-Dholaibil area has cleared the examination for the post of Sub-Registrar (ACS) with the 31st rank. Different organizations like Sonitpur ABSU, AASU, Sonitpur Press Club and Sonitpur Journalist Union have congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to dedicate themselves towards good service to the society.
